Zinc plating, cadmium plating and passivation

Zinc plating, cadmium plating and passivation

Zinc plating is an electrochemical process of applying a zinc coating to protect against corrosion.

Cadmium plating is an electrochemical process of applying a cadmium coating in order to protect against corrosion, as well as to reduce the corrosion potential between different materials.

Passivation of zinc and cadmium coatings increases the corrosion resistance of the applied coating.

Blue and yellow (chromate) passivation for zinc coating and yellow (chromate) passivation for cadmium coating are available.

Dimensions of the baths working space for zinc plating, cadmium plating and passivation are approx. (1000x500x800) mm
