Phosphating and black oxidation

Phosphating and black oxidation

Bluing is the chemical process of forming a black oxide film on the surface of an iron or steel part, in order to protect parts from corrosion that work in the oil.

Phosphating is a chemical process of obtaining a phosphate coating on iron or steel parts which is a good base for painting as well as corrosion protection on parts working in oil.

The dimensions of the baths:

  • for the phosphating process approx. (1050x600x800) mm,
  • for the bluing process approx. (900x600x600) mm.
