Anodic oxidation or anodizing is an electrochemical process of forming an oxide film on aluminum and aluminum alloys, which is a good base for organic coatings and corrosion protection. The following processes are available: anodic oxidation (anodizing) in sulfuric acid (H2SO4), anodic oxidation (anodizing) in chromic acid (CrO3) and hard anodic oxidation (hard anodizing) in sulfuric acid (H2SO4).
Chromatization is a chemical process of applying a chromate coating to parts made of aluminum, magnesium, aluminum alloys or magnesium alloys, in order to protect against corrosion and obtain paint substrates.
The dimensions of the bath line working space of anodic oxidation and chromatization are approx. (1000x500x800)mm, except for the bath for hard anodic oxidation whose dimensions of the working space are (450x450x500)mm.
