Heat treatment in a protective atmosphere and in conventional furnaces

HEAT TREATMENT 

       Turbojet engine parts of stainless, fireproof steels, nickel and titanium alloys (annealing and aging) can be heat-treated within ORAO's Production. In addition, there is available equipment and process planning for high temperature vacuum brazing of turbojet engine parts with nickel based solder.

Two IPSEN furnaces for vacuum heat treatment are also available.

Furnace features:
- Maximum operating temperature: 1250oC
- Operating pressure: 10-4 mbar
- Cooling gas: argon
- Dimensions of effective working area:

450 x 610 x 350 mm - small furnace and
Ø1200 x 1500 mm - big furnace

- max. weight of a lot: 180 kg - small furnace
- max. weight of a lot: 1320 kg - big furnace

 We also have conventional furnaces for heat treatment

  • Heat treatment of parts made of high alloy steels and nickel alloys in vacuum.
  • Heat treatment that we can complete: annealing, annealing after welding, normalization, hardening, aging ...
  • We offer a wide range of heat treatment according to customer requirements: CPW 21-3-15,-22,-32, AMS-H-6875B

  • Chamber: Ф1200 x 1500 mm
  • Temperature: from 500 to 1300 °C
  • Vacuum: 1x10-3 mbar
  • Argon pressure for cooling: up to 1 bar.

Chamber furnace Hofmann BW 1500

  • Workspace: 900x900x1300 mm;
  • Heating power: 72 kW
  • Temperature range: up to 950 oC

 Ipsen furnace VFC 224

  • Chamber: 400x300x600 mm
  • Temperature range: 500 ÷ 1300 оC
