A commemoration was held on the occasion of the death of PhD Nenad Lalic
A commemoration was held in the large amphitheater of the Center for Higher Education in Bijeljina on the occasion of the death of PhD Nenad Lalic, Acting General Director of Orao JSC and a full professor at the Faculty of Business Economics in Bijeljina, University of East Sarajevo, who passed away on December 4, 2020 after a long and severe illness.
The commemorative gathering began with a minute of silence. First of all, on behalf of the University of East Sarajevo, the Faculty of Business Economics in Bijeljina and the Faculty of Pedagogy, PhD Srdjan Lalic, who read the biography and said goodbye to Professor Nenad Lalic with a touching speech.
Kristina Koprivica, a master's student at the Faculty of Business Economics in Bijeljina, spoke at the commemoration on behalf of the students. In front of the Orao company in which PhD Nenad Lalic worked for many years, and where he also performed the function of General Manager, Mladen Lemez addressed the audience, such as following:
"Dear Lalic family,
Distinguished professors, students, colleagues and friends of PhD Nenad Lalic.
In front of the Orao JSC I extend my sincere and deepest condolences to all of you and the Lalic family.
The fact that we will talk about PhD Nenad Lalic as a professor, politician, director, caring father and even more caring grandfather, good son and husband, tells us how energetically and dedicatedly he approached all earthly challenges and that there was no unused time in his life.
Today, in this place, I will not talk about what a professor or a politician was like, others will talk about it. I will say a few words about the personality of the “Child of Orao,” as he liked to say about himself.
When I received the news - Nenad Lalic died, I felt a concrete loss. An eptiness full of content. PhD Nenad Lalic was a born winner, a charmer and a gentleman. All those who had the privilege of being a part of his life know that. For him, defeat was never an acceptable option. His energy and winning spirit were the driving force and motive of all of us to be better, and now they are the guide and the ideal. Unfortunately, on December 4, he lost the most important fight.
He left us forever in his own way: Fighting to the very end! No surrender!
He started working in Orao in 1979, when he was 20 years old. For 41 years, he wrote the history of the Orao JSC with his colleagues and comrades-in-arms, which was not easy at all. From Rajlovac, the events of the war, the heroic endeavor of moving the entire company to Bijeljina, unjustified sanctions against Orao… has always been a part of the top management. He studied professionally and personally, matured and lived together with Orao. He left an impressive contribution to each work task. The last function he performed was the function of the first man of the Orao JSC - the function of the general manager.
For a very short period in the position of general director, he presented us with a vision of a modern company in which Orao JSC should have grown up with him.
Our director was a modern understanding of business, an excellent leader and an excellent manager and mentor. What his closest associates knew was that aviation was one of his greatest loves. In the last few days, he even showed models of the Orao and the Galeb and commented, "That's what I lived for." Because of that love, because of his enthusiasm, will and courage, even when his health condition was not the best, he accepted the role of general director. To our questions “How are you?!? and "Can you ?!" the answer was always the same: "Good!", "I can!". Because what is disease versus courage! He taught us to be brave too. That fear cannot stop suffering, anxiety, pain and death, but fear is great at stopping life. Only brave!
Above all, PhD Nenad Lalic was our friend. He helped all people in their life situations and needs. He knew that power is not in position and function, but in the subordination of that position to people and their needs.
He left us when he was sorely needed
And to students of faculty
And to my friends and associates
And to fellow workers of Orao
And of course the most - to his loved ones.
Behind him left an earthly life worth of respect and admiration. The memory of the working and life expectancy of the achieved goals remained. However, above all this, there remained a deep emptiness and great sorrow for our Lala, which no words can alleviate.
He is now preparing for a new path, the path of immortality and the path to the settlement of the righteous. Dear Lala, the paradise is waiting for you, it is looking forward to you. May your soul be our peace among the angels, and your air wings will help you reach the place you deserve with your nobility with the angels.
For everything he did for Orao JSC, on behalf of all employees, I express my gratitude to our Lala.

Predrag Jovic addressed the City Administration of the City of Bijeljina.
Emphasizing the extraordinary virtuous qualities of his Lala, his colleagues and friends said a touching farewell to this wonderful man, a sincere and loyal friend and a wonderful colleague who, leading a difficult struggle with a vicious disease, was a source of strength and comfort to others, always ready to lend a helping hand, because he knew that by helping others he gained imperishable wealth.
Funeral of PhD Nenad Lalic will be held on December 8, 2020, at 3 pm, at Topcider in Belgrade.
