Successful presentation at Partner 2021 Arms Fair
"Orao" JSC presented its capacities at the 10th International Arms and Military Equipment Fair "Partner 2021", which was held in the period October 11-14, 2021 at the Belgrade Fair.
Visitors to the stand had the opportunity see live the overhauled "Viper 632-43" engine for the "Super Galeb G4" aircraft. Also, numerous specialized processes "Orao" JSC is recognizable by were presented, like galvanic-chemical protection, material testing, calibration, electro-erosion, metallization, non-destructive testing and heat treatment.
Under the slogan "77 years of aviation", all the aviation equipment which has been produced and repaired from 1944 until today by "Orao" JSC was presented at the fair. All visitors had the opportunity to learn about the long-term vision of the company, which includes mastering of overhaul of new types of engines. In addition to the TV3-117 engine for Mi-8/17 helicopters and the RD-33 engine for MIG-29, for which licensing activities have already been initiated with the relevant Russian companies, Orpheus and Adour Mk. 871-01 engines were presented as development projects that await “Orao” JSC in near future.
General Manager of "Orao" JSC, Mr. Mladen Stojanović, noted that the company takes participation it this fair every year because it is very important for the company to present itself and for others to see that the company actively performs in its field of work. "It is important for us to provide assurances to our main customer, the Serbian Army, that we can be their support and that we can provide the Serbian Ministry of Defense with the resources of aircraft engines for their needs," said Mr. Stojanovic.
On the first day of the fair, our stand was visited by a member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Mr. Milorad Dodik, who congratulated us on the participation at the fair, perseverance and tradition, and supported us in our goal to conquer new foreign markets.
Minister of Economy and Entrepreneurship Mr. Vjekoslav Petričević also supported "Orao" JSC at the Fair, saying: "Exhibitors from Republic of Srpska have the opportunity to present themselves to serious companies from Russia, where one company visited Republic of Srpska one and a half years ago and determined the opportunities and capacities for development of the “Orao " JSC”.
We were also supported by the President of the Assembly of the City of Bijeljina, Mr. Aleksandar Đurđević, and the Head of the Cabinet of the Mayor of Bijeljina, Mr. Mladen Arsenović. "Orao"JSC is a very important company for our city. It employs a large number of workers and creates additional value for our local community. We, the representatives of the city of Bijeljina, are glad to have something to be proud of, as well as the management of "Orao" JSC, he said. The Minister of Foreign Trade and Economic Relations of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Mr. Staša Košarac, and the Minister of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Srpska, Mr. Dragan Lukač, honoured“ Orao” JSC with their presence at “ Orao” JSC stand.
The Fair was a great opportunity to establish better contacts with the existing business partners, and the appearing of a representative of the Russian company Rostec was of great importance for our company. The possibilities for servicing and maintaining Russian origin aircrafts were discussed with the representatives of the Russian company NASK (National Aviation Service Company), which is a part of Rostec, and further steps on achieving mutual cooperation were defined.
