Internship
“ Through its socially responsible work, “Orao” a.d. helps young people to gain the needed experience and knowledge. Thereby, six students of Technical school “Mihajlo Pupin” spent one school year in our company within an internship program, with the aim to gain the practical knowledge in metalworking. In order for knowledge to be efficient and truly useful, all learned has to be implemented in real environment. Thus, it is essential for students to simultaneously acquire fundamental knowledge, and to get the opportunity to test that knowledge and implement it in practice. The students are our future employees, we should get them interested in work and help them to prepare as well as possible for their future professions, to motivate them and keep them working in the company. Knowledge tested in practice is easier to adopt and harder to forget”, it was said by „Orao“ a.d. Director, Mladen Stojanović.
“In the last few years, Technical school “Mihajlo Pupin” has wanted to provide the best possible practical education for its students. Socially responsible companies from out town are helping us by enabling practical educations for our students. We have a long-term cooperation with "Orao" a.d., as a socially responsible partner of our school , and "Orao" a.d provided a quality training to our students this year as well. I want, in my personal name and in the name of Technical school “Mihajlo Pupin”, to thank to "Orao" a.d. company for always being at our students’ service. "Orao" a.d. carries out a quality practical education, and many students after they complete their secondary education get the opportunity for employment in your company”, said the director of Technical school “Mihajlo Pupin", Milenko Maksimović.
“Practical education for students in industry is very important, not just for the students but for the company and entire social system as well. Accordingly, the role and approach of the mentor of the practical education in the company , who is cooperating with the coordinators of the practical education in the schools the students go to, is very important. The mentors, with their associates, help the students to familiarise themselves with the real working environment, equipment, means of protection at work, working documentation, to practically implement the knowledge they acquired at school, and to learn through the examples the work process which they are educating for “, said Milica Jovković, a practical education mentor in „Orao“ a.d..
