Recognition for scientific and research work won at the International Conference XXIII YUCORR 2022
At the prestigious International Scientific Conference XXIII YUCORR 2022,” Meeting Point of the Science and Practice in the Fields of Corrosion, Materials and Environmental Protection”, held from May 16th until May 19th , 2022 at Divcibare, sponsored by the Ministry of Education, Science and Technological Development of the Republic of Serbia, the representatives of “Orao” AD, Bijeljina, won an honorary award for the best-prepared paper poster presentation.
The paper shows the complete characterization of the spare part – lead coated bearing housing RK 20081 by X-Ray fluorescence analysis (XRF) using the X-MET 8000 Portable Handheld XRF Analyzer. The microphotographs of metallographic images used to answer the questions of the adhesion between the base material and the applied coating, as well as the thickness of the coating, were presented in the paper as well.
The quality and unambiguity of the obtained results are the essential elements of scientific and technological development in the field of overhaul and production of spare parts for all types of aircraft engines. A reliable source of a lasting competitive advantage becomes knowledge which is the basic capital and development lever in the aviation industry, and it requires the engagement of the selected staff in the country.

This Conference is the fifth international conference this year at which Prof. Dr. Božidarka Arsenović has published her scientific papers.
This year's International Scientific Conference XXIII YUCORR 2022, organized by the Serbian Society of Corrosion and Materials Protection (UISKoZaM), the Institute of Chemistry, Technology and Metallurgy (IChTM), the Union of Engineers and Technicians of Serbia (IT) and the Engineering Academy of Serbia (EAS) gathered the experts from the countries of the former Yugoslavia and European Union. Our company has been actively participating in the YUCORR International Conference (presentation of scientific papers) with the topics from the Conference programs since 2008.
