The company "Orao" a.d. Bijeljina recently hosted distinguished guests from Slovenia as part of a bilateral cooperation project between the Republic of Slovenia and Bosnia and Herzegovina. Professor Dr. Damjan Klobcar and Dipl. Eng. Jaka Lavrih from the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering in Ljubljana visited the company to explore and analyze advanced technologies for joining dissimilar materials used in the development of lightweight structures.
This project, titled "Research and Analysis of Advanced Technologies for Joining Dissimilar Materials," aims to promote collaboration between industry and universities, as well as showcase the capacities and possibilities for joint cooperation. It is being carried out at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering in East Sarajevo, under the leadership of Professor Dr. Biljana Marković.
Professor Dr. Biljana Marković hosted the guests from Slovenia during their visit to the company "Orao" a.d. Bijeljina, with expert support provided by Dipl. Eng. Miodrag Divčić. On this occasion, the importance of this research and its potential applications in the lightweight construction industry were emphasized.
"Orao" a.d. Bijeljina gladly opened its doors and provided professional support for the research on advanced technologies for joining dissimilar materials. Their expertise and experience in the production and overhaul of turbojet engines make them a relevant partner for this research.
The project "Research and Analysis of Advanced Technologies for Joining Dissimilar Materials" represents an important step towards enhancing technological capabilities and innovations in the field of lightweight structures.
