On Friday, December 20, 2024, “Orao” a.d. Bijeljina had the honor of hosting students and professors from the Faculty of Technology in Zvornik. The visit was organized as part of the curriculum for the elective course “Technology of Protection with Metallic Coatings,” serving as a practical component for students in their first cycle of studies.

The faculty delegation toured all our facilities, with particular emphasis on the galvanization plant, where students had the opportunity to familiarize themselves with surface protection processes, including electrochemical methods used to ensure the quality and longevity of components in the aviation industry. Additionally, they were introduced to the work of our laboratories, equipped with state-of-the-art equipment for material analysis and quality control, which is essential for achieving high standards in the production and maintenance of turbojet engines.

Special attention was given to connecting the theoretical knowledge students acquire during their studies with its practical application in an industrial setting. Our experts provided detailed explanations of every step of the technological processes, answered questions, and shared their experiences from daily operations. This allowed students to gain insight into the importance of metallic coating technologies in a real-world industrial environment, as well as the significance of precision and innovation in the aviation industry.
