TRB and Orao Together at the Belgrade Fair
The leading defense industry companies of the Republic of Srpska, Tehnički Remont Bratunac (TRB) and Orao Bijeljina, under the slogan “Stability of Partnership – Strength of the Future”, will jointly participate at the prestigious International Fair of Armaments and Defense Equipment “Partner 2025”, to be held in Belgrade from September 23 to 26.
TRB and Orao will jointly present part of their capacities with the aim of strengthening partnership and cooperation, while also showcasing the potential of the defense industry of the Republic of Srpska.
“By appearing under one name and one idea, we send a clear message – the future is not built alone. It is founded on cooperation with reliable partners – local, regional, and international – with suppliers, engineering teams, development centers, and institutions that stand behind each of our decisions, every project, every delivered solution,” TRB representatives emphasized.
They point out that partnerships are the foundation of their identity, and without them, there is no progress and no future.
In Hall 4, at booth No. 4036, across more than 450 square meters of exhibition space, the most advanced products and solutions of the domestic defense industry will be presented – from the renowned armored vehicles “Despot” and “Vihor”, through the semi-automatic pistol “RS9”, to the most modern systems and machines for ammunition production “Drina”.
According to the company, special attention will also be drawn to the “Iskra” sector, which develops sophisticated fuzes for various types of explosive ordnance, as well as the humanitarian demining machine “MH17”, increasingly in demand outside the region.
The exhibition appearance will also be marked by the announcement of TRB’s new production cycle, a direct response to the growing interest of the global market in reliable and innovative domestic capacities, particularly in light of increasingly complex security challenges on the international stage.
In addition to its advanced capacities in the fields of aircraft overhaul, galvanization, production, calibration, and testing, Orao will highlight the “MM-12” engine at the upcoming fair.
This engine, showcased as a museum exhibit, symbolizes the company’s rich tradition and historical development, as it once represented the core of its overhaul program.
“Nevertheless, the era of the MM-12 engine belongs to the past – today, Orao is focused on the future, already successfully carrying out the overhaul and maintenance of new generations of engines, thereby confirming continuity in development and adaptation to the modern needs of aviation,” Orao representatives stated.
With a strong focus on introducing new technologies and licenses in the aviation industry, as well as through several development projects aimed at establishing production of new products, Orao reaffirms its role as a key factor in the future development of domestic and regional aerospace industries.
The defense industry companies of the Republic of Srpska have invited all partners, institutional representatives, experts, the media, and all interested visitors to attend the fair and personally experience the spirit of cooperation, strength, and unity which, as they emphasize, leads toward a shared future.
The International Fair of Armaments and Defense Equipment “Partner” is held every two years, under the auspices of the Ministry of Defense of Serbia.
