Ministers of the Government of Republika Srpska Visit the Joint Booth of “Orao” a.d. Bijeljina and TRB at Partner 2025
On the first day of the international fair Partner 2025, one of the most significant regional events dedicated to the defense and defense-related industry, the joint booth of “Orao” a.d. Bijeljina and Tehnički Remont Bratunac (TRB) was visited by a high-level delegation from the Republic of Serbia and Republika Srpska.
The delegation of the Republic of Serbia was led by the Prime Minister of Serbia, Đuro Macut, accompanied by the Minister of Defense, Bratislav Gašić, and the Assistant Minister of Defense for Material Resources, Nenad Miloradović. Their visit highlighted strong support for the joint presence of domestic companies and reaffirmed the strategic importance of cooperation between Serbia and Republika Srpska in the defense industry.
During the day, the booth of “Orao” and TRB was also visited by ministers from the Government of Republika Srpska: Minister of Economy and Entrepreneurship Vojin Mitrović, Minister of Internal Affairs Željko Budimir accompanied by the Director of the Police of Republika Srpska, Siniša Kostrešević, and Minister of Energy and Mining Petar Đokić. In addition to government officials, numerous business representatives were also present, including Slavomir Vukičević from Glotec Ltd, Director of the Aviation Institute “Moma Stanojlović” Slaviša Pavlović, Director of TRB Slaven Ristić, and Director of “Kosmos” Dušan Vještica.
The delegation of “Orao” a.d. was led by Director Marko Mrkajić with his associates. Meetings focused on the joint international promotion of companies from Republika Srpska, building connections with foreign partners, and creating new business opportunities. Particular emphasis was placed on the importance of institutional support from the Government of Republika Srpska, as well as the strategic partnership with the Republic of Serbia aimed at the modernization and strengthening of the defense industry.
The first day of Partner 2025 clearly demonstrated that the synergy of domestic companies and institutional support can create a strong foundation for a more prominent international presence. Through their joint efforts, “Orao” a.d. Bijeljina and Tehnički Remont Bratunac reaffirm that the defense industry of Republika Srpska has a promising future and that, through investment in knowledge, technology, and partnerships, it can consolidate its position both regionally and internationally.
